For a select group of Dead Milkmen fans, it was the band’s message board. Over a period of ten years, fans like Sean (Mang The Goat), Jason (kksuck2), Ben (The Tarantula) and Tony (Big Time Operator) communicated with other fans around the world, sharing their passion for the Dead Milkmen. None of the message board members thought they’d have the opportunity to meet in person…until the Dead Milkmen announced that they were reuniting to pay tribute to one of their fallen band mates.
What followed was a series of hilarious and comical adventures involving many members of the message board as they met for the first time. With a foreword by Dan “Dandrew” Stevens (bassist for the Dead Milkmen), City of Mud is the 100% true story of a group of people, a group who not only became acquainted but also became lifelong friends, thanks to a band’s message board — and an opportunistic adventure around the City of Brotherly Love.
